Library Mission and Vision:Library Mission:The Cardinal Beran Library is the central resource for learning and reserach in theolgoical scholarship at St. Mary's Seminary. Serving also as a resource for the Catholic clerical, religious, and lay ecclesial ministries of the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese, the library is committed to providing resources and services in person and online that support the educational and religious mission of St. Mary's Seminary and the Church, and that encourage growth intellectually, spiritually, personally and pastorally.Library Vision:The Cardinal Beran Library will provide information and resources of the highest caliber to support the mission of St. Mary's Seminary and the needs of its wider community. The assistance and services offered by the Cardinal Beran Library focus not only on providing immediate answers to questions, but also on teaching research skills to instill a spirit of lifelong learning in the quest for truth.
